Hello future flatmate(s)!
I'm looking for someone friendly and easy going to move into my spacious Victorian flat on a short term basis whilst I sell the property.
The flat:
- Recently renovated ground floor flat (nearly 1,000 square feet) with a brand new bathroom, toilet, and living room.
- Split level across two floors. 1st floor: your bedroom, kitchen diner, conservatory, living room, bathroom, separate toilet, and patio. Basement: my bedroom and additional storage space, which we can both use.
- Dishwasher, washing machine, piano.
- Very tall ceilings throughout, quiet and peaceful environment despite being a stone's throw away from Brixton Road.
- Space to leave your bike securely in building hallway.
The room:
- Good size double with lots of character
- Ample storage space (shelving and large wardrobe)
- Patio door out on to the garden
Location:
- 5-min walk to Oval station and 10-min walk to Stockwell station
- Very close proximity to food shops, restaurants, Kennington Park, Oval farmer's market, barbers, Pure Gym.
About me
- I work for a trade union and work in the office roughly 4 days a week. Career focused on social justice (previously worked for charities and in politics)
- Like exercising, seeing friends, going out, exploring London, but also relaxing at home
- Considerate, friendly and approachable
- I own the flat but would want you to feel very much that this is your home too
What I'm looking for
Ideally, you:
- are friendly and sociable, but value a quiet and calm space to return home to (most socialising happens out and about)
- appreciate cleanliness and tidiness
Practical:
- Minimum 3 months and then rolling.
- Rent £1300 pcm + bills for single tenant (adjusted to £1600 + bills for a couple)
- Bills around £200 (some variation to gas/electricity in the colder months). Includes gas & electricity, internet, TV, water, council tax
