Are you a Post grad student looking for a warm, comfortable and friendly home?
We are seeking a 4th housemate to share a long-established Postgrad house in a quiet residential Cul-de-Sac overlooking Belmont Park, a short walk from St Luke’s Campus and the town centre, a little farther but quite manageable from the Streatham Campus.
Family neighbours, lots of Greenery - this is not a typical student house/area.
Our current residents are Hannah, Ali, Tullio and Lucy, all Postgrads at Exeter, studying Archaeology, Psychology, Animal Behaviour, and Malarial vectors, aged 23 to 30-ish.
Lucy is moving to pastures new, so we are seeking a replacement [difficult act to follow!]
Everyone is involved in the process of choosing new residents, for, as you will I’m sure you agree, who you live with is as important as where you reside.
We’re looking for Postgrads/mature students aged 25 and up, who are keen to find a quiet and companionable home with similarly minded folk, from October 2020. There is a distinct Vegetarian tendency, but not fanatical. The house is Green orientated, keen to actively recycle, and all food waste is composted in the garden in supplied composters. Secure bike storage.
International students always very welcome.
The household is very COVID aware, and so any new resident will need to feel comfortable about being in a living environment where the current guidelines are applied conscientiously, and being part of the household “bubble”, whilst enjoying a friendly and sociable environment.
The house benefits from considerable insulation, has a high-efficiency Condensing boiler, and is a warm & cosy home.
You will have a double bedroom with a study area, and share a comfortable Lounge [proper squashy sofas!], a large airy Kitchen and Dining Room with 2 cooking areas, dishwasher, washing machine, drier, freezer, etc, and a Sunny patio looking out over the Park.
There are 2 bathrooms, one with Bath with a shower over, one with Shower Cubicle, both with Loo and Basin,
Friendly local landlord, excellent professional Tradesfolk back-up.
NOT a house for party animals, but perfect if you want a quiet, safe and friendly place to live.
Rent £429 per person per Calendar Month, + bills.
Please feel free to have an informal chat. We don’t rush anyone, and you will be invited to get to know your potential fellow residents before making any decision.
Very best wishes

QUOTES FROM PREVIOUS RESIDENTS: -
"I'd just like to say thank you for being such a wonderful landlord! We all really appreciate the little things you did for us, as well as the more obvious things such as the great standard the house was kept at - it's much nicer than most student houses I've seen!" [Kirsten]
“Really really friendly, personable, approachable, kind and considerate. You also really cared about and liked the property which made a big difference I think. I always felt I could trust you as a landlord and was safe in the house, and that you were fair.” [Lisa]
“The house was a really nice house with everything you could possibly need as a student tenant, but more importantly you were considerate, helpful and diligent landlords that explained every step of us moving in or out and were ready to help out at every stage of the tenancy. Also, perhaps more importantly, you were all-round nice people that made it a pleasure”. [Jack]
“Friendly manner, very responsive to needs/requests!” [Stacey]
“Landlord was very helpful when we needed him to help us with something in the house. Kitchen was very well equipped which was a great advantage to have.” [Olenka]
“Always very polite, considerate, and genuinely cared about our quality of life!” [Sadie]
